In addition to photography, I have a passion for painting. This piece, which I gifted to a valued professor, depicts a young girl trying on her mother’s shoes—a symbol of growth, guidance, and becoming.
It reflects the mentors who supported me as I found my path, and now serves as a tribute to the journey from student to teacher.
Below are a selection of photographs I have captured during my time studying abroad and traveling to different parts of the world. These experiences have strengthened my adaptability, curiosity, and appreciation for diverse cultures, all of which influence my approach to teaching.
I bring these perspectives into the classroom through meaningful connections, storytelling, and real-world context, with the goal of making learning more engaging and relevant for my students.
